The UFT can help you find quality child care providers near you

Introducing the UFT's newest member benefit: a platform to connect UFT members seeking quality child care with UFT members who provide it. 

UFT members can now use (login required) to find out if you qualify for free or reduced-cost child care and then find a child care provider near your home or work. 

You can search for a provider by zip code, price, special needs, hours of operation, availability, language and more. Home-based child care programs run by members of the UFT Family Child Care Providers Chapter have a blue sticker that says “UFT Program.” Members can contact providers directly through the platform via phone or email.
