The UFT New York City Coaches Association and PSAL Committee represents the interests of New York City public school coaches inside our union, the ÐãÐãÖ±²¥.Ìý
Our purpose is two-fold: (1) to ensure that coaches are treated fairly by school administrators and that unfair treatment is brought to the attention of appropriate ÐãÐãÖ±²¥officials; and, (2) to provide training and a venue for information-sharing on coaching. We also host an annual awards dinner for coaches in the spring.
Our members are high school teachers who coach in addition to their other responsibilities. They coach all sports played at the secondary school level in the New York City public school system.Ìý
